This page will help you get started with Recommendations & Tracking.

If you're here, you have probably integrated our API, and we are asking you to integrate impression tracking or one step further, integrating the Discovery/Recommendations page on your platform. Regardless, all the API calls for both actions can be found in this section.

What is the Recommendation Page?

We have created an algorithm that based on a user's interactions with our perks and benefits across the numerous platforms we are integrated with, we can recommend perks and benefits that we determine would be the most relevant for them. The catalog of perks that we choose from are perks that are a part of our database that get boosted by collection owners/third parties aka clients. This in turn creates a whole new dynamic for Web3 marketing that not only gives clients direct communication channels with holders through wallets and marketplaces, but also provides users targeted benefits, not ads, that would be of actual interest to them.

What is the benefit of adding a Recommendations page onto my platform?

As a platform integrating this page, you would be a part of a revenue share model that would benefit from the cost that clients pay to boost as part of their CPC/CPM models. Not only do your holders get exposed to real utility provided by both collections they hold and not hold, but you financially benefit from the exposure your platform provides for the clients.

What's the difference between an ad and a benefit?

Great question! One of the primary differentiators between theMiracle and other Web3 marketing platforms is that we are very particular about the types of benefits and perks we add to our platform. What makes a benefit different from an ad? Exclusivity and utility. Let's create a spectrum and assume that on the left-hand side, we have ads, and on the right-hand side, we have benefits.

Ads <------------------------> Benefits

A worst-case scenario ad example is Calvin Klein increasing the prices of their underwear, and then slashing the prices on Christmas. Although this seems like a "deal," in reality, it isn’t—it's available to everyone. Not exclusive and not useful—an ad.

A best-case scenario benefit example is Rektguy creating a snapshot prior to an announcement, and then announcing that all holders of the snapshot are eligible to claim equity within Rekt Drinks. This is a pure benefit because it is exclusive, and there is strong utility for the users. In fact, announcing or boosting this perk doesn’t bring any direct tangible benefits back to the collection owners because the snapshot was already taken—so this is as pure as a benefit can get.

How to get started with the API?

Check out the API call pages within this section, and reach out to us https://www.themiracle.io/. Askar will provide the API keys for testing/production purposes as well.

What are impressions and clicks?

We are conservative when it comes to tracking impressions. If your integration includes a view of all benefits, and then a user clicks on a benefit for more details, then we consider it that an impression. A click is considered the user clicking on the CTA to be re-routed to the url of that benefit.
